The quickest way to move the chisel around is to left click in the middle of the screen, hold the mouse button down and move the mouse around. Hack around a few times to get the hang of it. Just hit the new button when you've reduced it to a tooth pick!
At the bottom of the screen are 3 very useful feedbacks.
- The tool position. This is the distance from the left of the work piece to the chisel center.
- The Tool Depth. This is the distance from the center of the work piece to the tool tip.
- Wood radius. This is the radius of the wood at the center of the tool.
As you cut you will also see the profile change in the profile view.
Tip: Each time you press the mouse button down and release it counts as one cut. You can undo up to 5 cuts so take small cuts. Use ctr+Z or the Edit-Undo menu option to undo.
