The easiest way to change the main view is to click and drag in the main view area. This allow you to rotate the piece in the X and Y axis. You can of course use the sliders for fine adjustment.

You have to use the slider to rotate in the Z axis. Play around with them until you get the hang of it. Different profiles will look better at different angles, as the shadows highlight various details.

If you get lost with the rotation just hit home view to return to the end on view.

A large selection of free textures are supplied with RouterSim. Check the Texture map box in the Texture panel to enable it. You can increase and decrease the number of vertical and horizontal repeats according to your preference.

*Click on the Texture graphic to load in new textures.

You can add your own textures, with two limitations.

1. The size in pixels of the .BMP or .JPG must be a binary multiple i.e. 32x32 , 64x64, 128x128 etc.

2. They must be stored in the Textures directory of the RouterSim installation.
